About me

My name is Johnathan C. Russell, and this is a space dedicated to displaying my artwork. I am a University of Memphis graduate and am located in the Memphis, TN area. Visual art has been my passion from a young age, and I created the Soul Ties To Art brand so that those who are interested in my work can see pieces that reflect ideas and subject matter that are important to me. I work with colored pencils, acrylic and oil paint, and Adobe Illustrator art. I have also made portraits for different commissions, produced graduation cap designs, created small scale indoor murals, and offered services for "sip and paint" events with groups of fifty or fewer people.
